SurplusSoft.com operates under a secure sockets layer (SSL) which encrypts data during its transmission between the SurplusSoft.com website and GovDeals^®, as well as any submission of credit card data to the Authorize.net gateway. Credit card data is not stored by SurplusSoft.com. Credit card information for monthly and annual subscriptions is stored only by Authorize.net. User passwords on SurplusSoft.com are encrypted, and requests to issue or renew a password causes an email to be sent to the registered user with a link to a website page to update a password. No passwords are transmitted by email.
